With these things in mind, we ask that you follow three simple, yet important steps if you have a site (URL) you'd like to add to our directory:
Step 1: Suggesting a Site That Isn't Your Own
If you are submitting a site to us that isn't your own, drop us an email at url_suggest@petfo.com, and we will evaluate it for inclusion in our directory. If you are submitting your own site, continue on to Step 2.
Step 2: Check to See if Your Site is Already Listed on Petfo.com
This is a vital step, because if your site is already listed on Petfo.com, you need go no further. Check by searching our directory for your site by title, URL, or by browsing appropriate categories.
NOTE: If your site is already listed on Petfo.com, but you want to change its description, title, URL, and/or placement, you need to use our Modify A URL form. This is an entirely different process.
Step 3: Find the Appropriate Category and/or Subcategory on Petfo.com
Finding an appropriate category for your site is at the heart of this process. Remember that we visit each site submitted to us, and proper categorization on your part helps us process your submission quickly.
Step 4. Submit Your Site From the Appropriate Category/Subcategory
This step is extremely important! Submit your site from the category you think most
appropriate. Do this by clicking on the "Submit A URL" link at the top of the category/subcategory page where you want your site listed. (For example, if you were a breeder of Basset Hounds and wanted to submit your site to us, go to the Dogs/Breeders/B/Basset Hound section and click the "Submit A URL" button from that page.)
After you click the "Submit A URL" button in the appropriate category/subcategory, you'll see an online form asking for information about your site. In the "category" space on the form, you'll see the name of the category you've chosen. Please be prepared to provide, among other information, your site's title, URL, and a brief description. Lastly, remember that the final placement of your site is determined by our staff.
